Here, after getting a few blood tests done, he was diagnosed with Beta-Thalassemia-Major. The line of treatment suggested was either – a blood-transfusion or a BMT.

The family then decided to approach HCG Hospital and consulted with Dr. Rashmi. After observing his condition, studying his reports and taking into consideration his age – a blood transfusion was suggested, which he has undergone. As of July 2021, he has started with his BMT treatment and further line of treatment will be decided based on his response to BMT.
