Somappa J J, (UHID: 189339) a 61-year-old from Hassan District, has been diagnosed with oligometastatic prostate cancer. Despite his diagnosis, Somappa remains hopeful and determined to fight this illness with strength and resilience.
His son, a daily wage laborer, is the sole earner for the family. With limited resources, the cost of Somappa’s radiation therapy, estimated at ₹3 lakhs, has become an overwhelming financial challenge for them.
Somappa is currently receiving treatment under the care of Dr. Vijay Bhaskar, who has recommended radiation therapy to aid in his recovery.
