About Mohammed Saleem

Mohammed Saleem is 33-years old, married to Shazia Kousar and is the father of three children; two daughters and a son. The family stays in a rented house near Guddadahalli, Bengaluru. He works as a mechanic at a garage and when at home spends most of his time with his children.

Medical Details

In 2018, Saleem would experience frequent headaches, for which the reason was unknown. After consulting a doctor and based on his suggestion, he underwent a MRI – scan at a diagnostic centre near his house. Post which the family approached a doctor with the scan reports at Apollo Hospital, wherein the doctor confirmed that Saleem was suffering from a brain-tumour. He needed to undergo a surgery in order to remove the tumour, the question was “How would this be done?”. A family doctor suggested that treatment could be done at HCG Hospital.

At HCG Hospital, post the MRI – scan and going through the report; Dr.Sridhar suggested that he undergo CyberKnife Radiation Therapy. In 2019, he underwent CyberKnife and was on his follow-up consultations. After a while Saleem began experiencing severe headaches and blurred vision, this made the family consult the doctor once again. In 2020, he underwent another MRI – Scan and after getting the report had to undergo a Biopsy.

He is yet to undergo CyberKnife Radiation Therapy. Based on the test results, he will be undergoing treatment.

Financial Details

The family has already spent 5-Lakhs until now for his treatment, by taking a loan and getting help from relatives. They have exhausted all their savings and are in need of financial support for the remaining part of his treatment.

Required Aid

Saleem requires financial aid of 8-Lakhs for CyberKnife radiation therapy and supportive care.
