Established as a public charitable trust on December 4, 2006, the HCG Foundation is dedicated to supporting underprivileged cancer patients by ensuring access to quality treatment. At the HCG Foundation, our mission is to provide comprehensive support to cancer patients from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We believe everyone deserves the chance to receive top-notch medical care, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality. Funds are allocated on a case-by-case basis to general ward patients who demonstrate critical economic need, ensuring that our resources are directed where they are most needed. Since our inception, we have assisted over 4,000 patients, providing aid that ranges from partial support to full coverage of cancer care costs. We understand that cancer treatment can impose significant psychological and economic burdens on patients and their families. Our goal is to alleviate these burdens by ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical care without the added stress of financial strain.
Our efforts extend beyond treatment. Believing in the mantra of "prevention before cure," the HCG Foundation actively conducts cancer screening camps to detect the disease at its earliest stages, when it is most treatable. These camps are crucial in identifying cancer early and improving treatment outcomes.
In addition to screening, we are deeply invested in raising awareness about cancer and its prevention. Through various educational initiatives, we aim to inform the community about risk factors, early signs, and preventive measures. By spreading knowledge, we strive to reduce the incidence of cancer and promote a healthier society.
